Austin Creed tells you everything you need to know about UpUpDownDown.

Austin Creed — known to WWE television audiences as WWE Superstar Xavier Woods —  is the charismatic and energetic host of WWE’s YouTube gaming channel UpUpDownDown.

UPUPDOWNDOWN PLAYS: Pony Island is a very deceptive game, as UpUpDownDown host Austin Creed quickly discovers here in this video. Instead of romping around as a pony on a magical island, he ends up in an Inception-like situation where he's actually battling the games programmer ... who might actually be Satan!

As good at mashing buttons as he is at smashing opponents, Creed emcees the bulk of the channel’s six weekly videos, including the popular “Gamer Gauntlet” where he battles fellow WWE Superstars in video games instead of in the ring.

Launched in June 2015, UpUpDownDown has received more than 13 million total views thanks in large part to Creed’s hilarious interactions with his fellow grapplers. Creed’s deep knowledge of gaming has allowed the channel to reach a crossover audience of both sports-entertainment supporters and hardcore gamers while attracting new fans who discovered WWE through Creed’s infectious videos on YouTube, Facebook and Twitter.

Doubly impressive about Creed’s work on the channel is his ability to juggle his full-time WWE schedule while recording videos for the channel itself. WWE Superstars are on the road for roughly 300 days a year, yet Creed still finds time to put the show together during WWE Live Events, while bringing quality guests and interact with the channel’s large fan-base on social media.

The channel is coming off a highly successful “Madden NFL 16” tournament that saw WWE Superstar Seth Rollins declared the victor.

Creed’s frenetic energy and enthusiasm while on-screen is contagious and is without question a direct correlation to UpUpDownDown’s 322,150 (as of January 20, 2016) subscribers and sponsorships with major brands like General Mills.

For these reasons and so many more, he would be the perfect selection for the 2016 Cynopsis Sports Media Award for Athlete in a Web Series/Special/Spot.

Consistency was the key to UpUpDownDown’s success. At least five new videos have been uploaded to the channel each week, each featuring Creed and popular WWE Superstars.

Popular recurring titles include the exhilarating “Jump Scares” and “Gamer Gauntlet,” where WWE Superstars battle in head-to-head gaming competitions in the locker room with the loser undergoing hilarious punishments.

Users also know to expect engaging live streams that grant them the opportunity to watch their favorite performer’s game it up in real time.
